Dreamfall Chapters (2004 - 2017)
The ultimate Game Summary for “Dreamfall Chapters.” Everything you need to know to understand the story is covered in this cinematic synopsis. The Game Summary covers all important Chapters i.e. “Books”.In this video the story of Zoë Castillo continues. It took almost 10 years and a Kickstarter campaign for the final game to be released. If you haven’t played the first 2 games from 1999 and 2006, go watch my game summaries first.
Disclaimer about decisions in the game:
In the game, you can make decisions, which alter the further outcome of the game. In my video, I don’t cover those “alternatives”. However, the decisions have NO IMPACT on the outcomes. They only influence the secondary characters and determine whether they die or live in the end or if they even show up at all (e.g. a mission with either Shitbot or Kidbot). The outcome of all protagonists is the exact same for all decisions you make. Thus, I tried to focus on the main epic story, which is the same for all decisions.
The game “Dreamfall Chapters” continues right after the second game “Dreamfall: The Longest Journey”, which left us with a massive cliff-hanger. As of today, the game is set as the final part of the trilogy. It has the two predecessors: “The Longest Journey” from 1999 and “Dreamfall: The Longest Journey”, from 2006.
